Texas Native Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a successful 50+ year history of providing altruistic services to support the healthcare, employment, social, cultural, and other rising needs of the Texas Native American community. According to 2020 census data, the State of Texas is home to approximately 800,000 American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN), with over 220,000 of them residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, comprising 2.7% of the state’s population and 3.3% of the DFW population. Texas Native Health is the only Urban Indian Health Center in Texas, and has been in operation since 1971, providing comprehensive services including Primary Care Clinic, Diabetes Management, Dental Clinic, On-Site Pharmacy, Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Counseling, Tuition Assistance & Career Training, Human Trafficking Victim Counseling, and Cultural & Education Activities. TNH is committed to our mission of strengthening the health and well-being of Native Americans.
